If you are taking Udacity’s SQL lessons and find the sql environment too compact and would like to install it locally then this article is for you.

Note that this set up is done in Mac.

Here are the steps:

  1. Install PostgreSQL
  2. Install PGAdmin
  3. Download Parch and Posey database

and for the database, download this parch-and-posey.sql file to create the database refer to the above link as well.
